Hi ,
I can't find (Labs Substance Material) node in the cop network anymore after updating to Sidefx labs 18.0.509 ? i read in the changelog that they removed the compiled third party stuff , if that is the case how we can use substance cop again .
any info will be appreciated .

OMG , this is the problem , there is no session , when i press start session , it's working .
p.s: nothing mention in the document about this ?

i'm on houdini fx .
By the way , everything work in the other 3d app (maya-c4d) only max give me the issue .

But Create object is grayed out (Disable) ? Because there is no hda loaded in the list, i attached a picture to explaine better

Hi,
i'm testing houdini engine for max , the plugin is loaded in max , but when i'm choosing any hda and hit load asset , nothing happend , i tried in max 2018 and max 2020 , with houdini 17.5 and 18.287 with the same issue ?
any help is appreciated .

Hi ,
I have a houdini hda that generating some poly data , but the normal of the poly is weird , i tried to add a normal sop as point or vertex in houdini with different face angle inside my hda , but still can't get a good normal ?
I tried also to change the setting for the hda in maya interface (“preserver mesh locked normals”) , but it didn't help .
I attached an image to the result i get in maya to show the problem , if i load my hda in cinema 4d , it's give me a good poly normal by default !
Is there any solution to get a sharp or good normal ?
any help is appreciated .

Waiting for this from one year ago , our pipeline is based on softimage and redshift , and what holding us from switching over to Houdini is redshift plugin for it , so we can't help with developing plugin , but we can help with feedback and suggestion for workflow and find a bugs in production project .
